This past spring, we held a photoshoot for the popular Colorwave collection. As Noritake expands this collection, we work with our creative team to best showcase the many benefits, features, and uses of this casual collection.
Our photographer was James Ransom (the shots in this post were taken by Noritake’s Marketing & E-Commerce Manager, Jamie Sanford—James shot the official images), and our stylist was Alexis Anthony.
The camera is not visible here, but it is mounted above the table surface, for creation of a series of images to create a stop-motion final product.
Making a salad look beautiful and delicious is tougher than you would expect!
Edible flowers added pops of color amidst the leafy greens.
Variety in all things, as provided by Alexis. Edible flowers for table decor or inclusion in salads, multiple cheese options, breads, and more.
This particular portion of our shoot was to tell the story of Colorwave, and its ability to be used appropriately for a casual breakfast or a more formal dinner.
Even the peel of a mandarin orange is considered with caution and delicacy.
The final setup for the breakfast portion of the image series.
Our next setup was to showcase entertaining with Colorwave. (The round candies on the oblong tray are Satellite Wafers.)
The large vegetable bowl and the oval platter are some of the most versatile pieces in the Colorwave collection.
Our final setup of the day was to showcase the Colorwave Set of 3 Bowls in use! These are often used for baking, so we decided to use baking as the inspiration for the image.
Note the blue eggshells!
Colorwave Blue has been one of the most popular colors in the collection since it was launched. You can see the entire Colorwave collection here.
